History
Berlin Bowling Center was originally built in 1965 in the Strand Theatre building by Norman "Smallie" Small and Dominic Poretta. In the late 1980's, "Smallie" and his son Norman bought out Dominic, expanded to construct a restaurant and lounge, and bought out the AMF pinsetters.
After 57 years of Small family ownership, Norman retired and sold the business (now known as North Country Bowling) to Daniel Washington, avid bowler with 27 years working for Xerox Corporation as a technical analyst. Renovating the bowling alley to create the premier entertainment destination in the White mountain region is job one.
